In 2008, I made a small investment into, and I have been working with, PBMI to develop strategies and products that will change the very nature of how music is promoted into, and discovered within, the music industry. Look for several major product announcements in 2009.

Music Think Tank - London
Co-creator of the Music Think Tank brand and blog with Andrew Dubber or New Music strategies. Music Think Tank was created as a place where CEOs and strategic thinkers can share ideas about the future of the music industry. Music Think Tank is one of the most active Music 2.0 (or is it 3.0 now) blogs on the Internet.

Unsprung Media - Boston
Unsprung Media (this blog) is where I present thoughts on the intersection of music and technology. I have also written a number of posts to help artists in the areas of capital raising, business planning and promotion.

SONGboost - Boston
SONGboost - designed music promotion tools and a patent-pending, bundled digital asset solution for the music industry. I am also an investor in SONGboost. SONGboost is privately working on the next generation of digital music products. SONGboost was sold to Platinum Blue Music Intelligence - March 2009.

Jediah - Boston
Jediah is the only artist/band I work with on an artist level. The members of the band Jediah are signed to a corporation that is owned by the band members and their investors. Jediah’s business deal is a unique 360-degree deal that can accommodate future investors and/or label interests.

Longview Recording Studios
Longview - I invested a year and a bit of capital into this legendary studio. Created a plan to make Longview into an investment-backed song factory that would work with artists on a song-by-song basis.

SQGO - Boston
SQGO has created technology and filed patents (filed in 2001 and still under review by the USPTO as of January 2009) on novel methods for creating, updating and provisioning wireless applications. I invested in SQGO, designed SQGO’s Thumb Driven Interface and managed the IP creation and development process.

Yospace - London
Yospace is now a Bauer Company (Germany). As an investor and a founder of Yospace, I planned Yospace’s initial product strategy and managed the first sales team. In year one, Yospace built products and sold them to many of the largest wireless network operators in the world.

Crawford Group - Boston
As Founder and CEO for Crawford Group - designed unique software and managed a business that became part of Ford Motor Company.
